Sergeant "Sarge" Stone
Sergeant Stone is an honest, but unlucky man. He joined the army to protect his homeland, but his commanding officers set him up in an attempt to cover up a political scandal. Sarge left them in disgust and joined a private military company. However, the mercenaries turned out to be bloodthirsty monsters who tortured people instead of protecting them.
Sarge then decided to keep far away from the military and signed on as a bodyguard for a scientific expedition that was studying the Samokhi civilization. When Sarge and the scientists arrived at the ruins of an ancient temple, his former colleagues from the private military company contacted him. They requested his help to do away with the expedition, offering him his life in exchange. Stone refused and the mercenaries attacked the camp on the very same night.
Sarge protected the scientists as best he could until he was wounded. As he lost consciousness, he saw Dr. Doolally activate a portal in a hail of bullets. When Stone woke up, he realized that he had ended up in the Temporal Net. Possibly forever...
